Perfect Coffee Water unique blend of minerals allows you to extract the full range of your coffee’s potential. For 1 Gallon/4L package, it comes in 3 packets and 15 packets package, and each packet can be used to condition 1 Gallon/4L of distilled water, so that’s 12L worth of coffee water for 3 packets and 60L worth of coffee water for 15 packets. If you would like to try out Perfect Coffee Water, we would recommend getting the 3 packets option to test it out.
For 5 Gallon/20L package, it comes in 10 packets and each packet can be used to condition 5 Gallon/20L of distilled water, so that’s 200L worth of coffee water, perfect for cafe environment.
This sachet is mainly designed for pour over. For espresso machine, we would recommend you to consult your machine manufacturer before using it in your machine and always follow their cleaning protocol. Perfect Coffee Water is considered slightly more “hard” then some manufacturer recommendations. If you’re looking for a way to reduce the scale build up in your machine, you can simply dilute 1 packet of Perfect Coffee Water into a larger volume of water (i.g. 2 gallons of distilled water). Courtland has over 10 years’ experience in the coffee industry with his focus on what is known as specialty coffee. Some of his roles have included cafe manager and barista trainer. He also has experience roasting, and as a coffee consultant for cafes & restaurants. Through his love for the brew, he has delved into understanding water chemistry with the help of many chemists and coffee professionals. But that is only the coffee part. Otherwise, he mostly spends his time with his wife and small child or out climbing rocks all over California.
Garrett recently finished a Master’s Degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. Outside of his recent studies, he can be found hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest, zipping around on his electric bike or traveling various parts of the world, often in pursuit of the best local cup of coffee. If you catch up with him, you’ll find him consistently brewing coffee with precision and care for himself, his friends and his family.
